The driving presence of Stewart Copeland as the drummer in The Police is undeniable. Fusing reggae beats with classic pop and rock, its easy to see why Steward Copeland is synonymous with fantastic groove. There are so many Police songs where Stewart’s playing comes into its own however in Roxanne with its infectious chorus and wonderful simplicity we see why The Police and indeed Stewart Copeland became legend.
